Add to this cruelly delicate organism the overpowering necessity to create, create, create - - - so that without the creating of music or poetry or books or buildings or something of meaning, his very breath is cut off from him. He must create, must pour out creation. By some strange, unknown, inward urgency he is not really alive unless he is creating."
This is the best version of the song i've heard, even better than the MTV version. Orchestra music beats sound mixers anytime.
Wow, i haven't noticed that it's almost one month since my last post.
Work's been crazy, perhaps due to my own procrastination, and even when it wasn't, the fatigue makes it hard for me to think too deep into the ideological and philosophical issues behind the things that happen to me in the day.
"So tired already, where got energy to think so much??"
Fatigue really takes your mind off alot of things. Other things.
So in order to indicate my existence, i took to semi-twittering on FB. Convenient since i've the iPhone and i've the applic. Drop a hi there if you see me there (or read about it here)!
Anyways, im here cus i needed a thinking break from my last essay (before my sweet, long-awaited assignment-free week). Kopped this quote while researching for essay-crapping materials, which reminds me that i chose the right job - for the power-loving sucker side of me - which i thought very powerful yet humbling at the same time:
Interesting discussion in SS class today:
Evaluating sources is like choosing husbands.
You need to consider the:
So Mum found out about my going to church. Didn't expect her to find out this way, but i trust that God has His plans and i am only to see the brilliance of it... in due time.
She didn't react very well to it, obviously. She didn't say much, but it was enough for me to sense that she feels hurt, which in turn feels like somebody just stabbed me with a thousand knives and left me there to bleed - the pain of which could perhaps explain my choice of painful songs of heartbreak to distract me from my own.
Take it away, Rob.
An example of a couply thing to do when you've been married for 25 years: Labels: Mum and Dad
Borrow a ear pick from your spouse to clean your ears while watching tv together. Oh, and as a safety measure, do ask your spouse to stay away from you in case he/she bumps into your ear-digging arm and your ear drum kenna.
There have been quite a few occasions when i've experienced the sensation of deja vu, but the most recent one has been the weirdest - i was reading Pride and Prejudice for the very first time on my iPhone when I started finding certain phrases very familiar. Then it hit me that i actually dreamt of reading an e-book on my iPhone even before either was invented! I remembered seeing the same words in the same background, same font colour and even the font size. The passage in question was:
"In her kind schemes for Elizabeth, she sometimes planned her marrying Colonel Fitzwilliam. He was beyond comparison the most pleasant man; he certainly admired her, and his situation in life was most eligible; but to counterbalance these advantages, Mr Darcy had considerable patronage in the church, and his cousin could have none at all."
Highlighted in red were the words that jolted my memory of having seen the text, even though i have never read the book itself before this. How creepy is that, huh? Makes me wonder if dreams really do come true. And if that is the case, I sure hope the bad ones don't.=D
