Im starting to experience difficulties remembering which day of the week it is; those boundaries between night n day seem to serve no purpose anymore. I really cant tell if the effort's gonna be worth it this time round, but i promise i'll still press on. Just that it gets a lil depressing to wake up every morning only to go through the same piles of books, notes and worksheets that i've just gone through six hrs ago. But i've always known i can count on my friends to help me lighten up a lil, so thanks a mil, Edlina:p

Here's her work of art, albeit a lil at my own expense...so yea, go on and laugh all u want:p

Im on the verge of losing my sanity. And my figure. Goodness knows how many frigging chocolates i've had since i started camping at the damned study table. I cant even bring myself to count, just hoping my hour-long badminton escapades work miracles. But obstacles aplenty, i think i might be suffering from delusions...been having the tendency to see laksa, hokkien mee, orh jian, pig's stomach soup, buttered salmon, seafood carbonara, KFC chicken drumsticks, tom yam and the likes hovering in front of me when no one else in the house does.
...
Maybe i'll be the first person in the world to be diagnosed with a new subtype of schizophrenia - Foodopornic Schizophrenia.

Im kidding. Of course i know, it's the butt-freezing cold weather that's been screwing my appetite big time. And in an attempt to overcome my food craving, i'll channel my delusional powers online by blogging them down as a post-exam celebration plan, since it has such a therapeutic effect. So here goes:

"After my exams end, i want..."
  • laksa - from the Deck, Siglap, 388/369/whatever that stall tt's along the katong stretch
  • hokkien mee - from Glutton Square n Kovan
  • orh jian - from Newton Circus
  • nasi lemak - from Punggol N.L (which in fact is also in Kovan)
  • seafood carbonara - from Swensen's
  • chicken drumsticks - from KFC
  • sambal stingray - from Chomp Chomp
  • masala chicken, and
  • prata kosongs, prata plasters - from the Prata Place
  • wanton mee - from Eminent Plaza
  • fried carrot cake - from Toa Payoh Lor 7
  • fried kuay teow - from Beach Road
  • zhi char - from Tiong Bahru
  • buttered salmon,
  • curry fish-head and
  • tom yam soup, all home-made:)))
Hmm i think there's more to this list...but somehow the rest of them escapes me. If any of my friends are interested to join me on my post-exam food quest, pls call me!!!

Sometimes, looking back at the things i do, i wonder if im a naturally bad person who just happened to excel in doing good things which make me seem like a good person. Sorry if dear old Mr Meng-zi flips in his grave. Just a random thought that hit me on my way to school...hmm.

Still deeply lacking a sense of urgency, which i had better develop ASAP so i can get going on the books. Im currently going at the rate of one chapter per day, which means i'll probably pass one module and fail all the other four if i maintain at this speed. (WELL DONE on the brilliant analysis, jy) Been chewing alot these days too, and im beginning to understand why xw is perpetually whining abt being a fat cow all the time. (I feel thy flabby pain, mate)

Sigh...

Anws, on a sidenote, here's a couple of pictures taken at the award ceremony tt my Reso batchmates n i went for a couple of weeks ago.

the 7 representatives on stage

The table deco (which was absolutely lovely by my standards)

Look what happens when u ignore the photographer...

...
That's about it, i guess. There's really nothing much to blog abt when the exam fever hits, unless i start putting up whine-y nonsense - which wld really be me asking the dearest reader to (refer to blogposts 21/04/07 - 30/04/07 and the likes)

Parting shot: Exams are no different from terrorism. For they both bring nothing but pain and suffering to everyone and anyone involved. (oh, and i forgot to add: whoever goes through them usually end up wiser yet/or traumatised.)

It feels as though i just bulldozed through the week. And perhaps, "Gosh, what a rush!" (Foo, 2007) best describes how i felt in that one week.

Been rushing to meet the deadlines like everybody else, accumulating sleep debts like everybody else, and trying to mug like everyone else and of course, squeeze in whatever morsels of free time to check out my fb like everybody else. Can't be all work and no play, wad.

What i thought was impossible to finish, i managed to succeed; and its a reason to be happy with myself for at least a little while...i guess. The proj work was horrendous load of crap which saw my grp churn out a 15-pg report in 7 days flat - I can't stress enough how impt it is to ensure u have friends for company (lazy farts not included) for modules that require grp prjt work.

The adol psych test tdy - no, i mean yest - was bleagh. But wad the heck, i aint too bothered by it. Just happy enough that its over already...gonna con't studyg for tt same mod 8 hrs later anw.

But like i said, i cant work 24/7. And play i did, in the form of the Rockapella concert last Sun. It was serious great fun, coz those guys were prancing arnd on stage alot but they cld still sing in tune. AMAZING. Guess even if they really did make mistakes, i was too engrossed in anticipating the antics they'd be up to next to notice. I liked the way they did choreo with ease, n sincere fun; not like the way some of our grps do it ( usually with an overload of cheese) only coz there's always some siao lang within the grp who " forces us to do choreo"-_-.

Oh wells, its the Deepavali pub hols, shld just stop grumbling, rejoice and wake up in the morning without tt usual anxious jolt of realisation tt im gonna be late for sch.
