My dear friend sent me a good link, and i thought i really should share:

My dear friend Cherie commented that my posts are generally too whiny in nature, so i thought i'd write something more rationalised this time.
Even though i do really wanna whine about how i couldn't finish my S'pore Studies essay during the test, but anw.
Had lunch with the giggers, whom i caught only after they performed, sad to say. And Edlina had to go on and on about how i was eating so slowly because i talk too much...blablabla. that NAGGY bishbish. haha but then it made me realise that i really do take a long time to eat. And the way i drink and eat kinda reflects the way i work, i guess. I take my own sweet time to sip my juice and nibble my food, and this goes on until some nerve in my brain decides i've had enough of dillydally-ing, and whoa! I finish up whatever that's left in zero time. Gee, and the patterns seem more similar the more i look at the it. Funny eh?
But this i've got to justify. I eat slowly only because my food is good and i want to fully savour it! Why should i gobble up my food quickly just because other ppl tell me to? They didnt pay for my food, i did! And because i love my food, i know my food will be tastier than any others' who eat to live.
In a blink, i bade farewell to 21.
In a blink, i survived 2 presentations, 2 midterm essays and 3 midterm CAs, but barely.
In a blink, i would have survived another project, another essay and 2 more midterms.
But in a blink, Good Friday has come.
And im finally here.

Did more than a little catch-up with my beloved grandma too, and found out things i bet none of my cousins ever knew - like having a couple of grand step-aunts and uncles and their families in China that i never knew and will never know; and that my great grand dad once owned an entire stretch of land near Whampoa before the govt bought it over for development. Like W-O-W...
Anw, while i managed to come back from my trip, somewhat recharged, the following week was - simply put - sheer hell on earth.
And while i felt a tad lonesome and out of sorts postponing my birthday celebrations, was sincerely touched by the birthday msgs - and the lovely, lovely surprise birthday song! - that i rcvd. It's been quite a while since i last felt such pure joy n love in my heart, which made it all the more sweet =)
Thanks dears, for your love=)
Finally back from my short term break hiatus!
I've been a really, really boring ol' cow the past week, havent been doing much except making great plans to accomplish 80% of my assignments... And shelving almost 99% of them.
Now you see why i specify the word 'plan'.
Only managed to complete one of my essays - and its only a 2-page critique, mind you - which speaks volumes abt how disciplined (or rather, lack thereof) i am during holidays. I probably spent abt 10 over hours in total catching korean and taiwanese drama episodes i missed on tv. Somebody slap me silly, pls.
But that aside, i did manage to make a trip to the Underwater World, which was probably the most wonderful highlight of the week other than hvg celebrated dear ol' Becky's bday the Sat before. But before anyone brushes it off as some stupid kiddy excursion, let me tell u tt its not - Coz i managed to have the stingrays literally feeding off my hand, found a fish that resembles my fav bra (more abt that when i load my pics up), saw a 400 million yr old nautilas (it's jurassic park all over again, babe), giant Japanese crabs (think sushi!) and posed a pic-y with the one n only existing Dugong in Spore. How many can make claims to all that!
So in all, i cant quite say i've made the most out of my one-week, but i guess it probably could have been worse. So i'll stop whining about it already. Sighs, but i do have to whine abt this: im not really keen to turn 22.
